You’ve recorded a payment for a guest and realize you have entered the incorrect amount. To reverse that payment, do the following:

  • Go to the Pricing tab of the booking

  • Click on the Reverse button


  • The following message will display


  • Click OK to proceed

  • Add a note if required and click OK



  • Return to the pricing tab to see the Reversal entered and the incorrect payment cleared.

  • To see the Reversal note click on the View button

  • You will always be able to reverse the last payment made


Note: If a credit card payment has been taken with the incorrect amount, reversing this payment in YesBookit does not refund the amount. Any credit card refunds need to be processed in your Payment Gateway.
