Campaigns give the agent a way of promoting their properties, offering special deals and featuring content on their website. Agents can choose from one of four Campaign Types: Promotional, Property Search, Selected Properties or Value Added/Discount.
A Campaign is a way to highlight information on your website’s home page and displays in a panel with a title, brief description and icon. The panel is a clickable link that goes through to the Campaign's main page. You have the ability to reorder the panels in the Campaign management area
Common Features
All campaigns have the following features in common:
ID (used by the system) Contains only letters, numbers and underscores. Used by the system for identification of each Campaign
Title Used in the panel header, campaign page heading and campaign page title
Brief Description Used in the panel and shown at the top of the campaign page
Icon Used in the panel and shown at the top of the campaign page
Main Description (Editorial Page) Shown on the campaign page
Active field Act as a trigger to enable or disable the Campaign. It allows you to set a date range for when the Campaign should be enabled, or it can be set to Enable all the time. A disabled Campaign does not show up on your website.
Template Defines how the campaign displays on the website. Select either Standard Box, Standard No Border or Slimline. Click on the Preview button to view each template style. (more templates will be added to the library over time)
Type There are four different 'types' of Campaigns, each serving a different purpose.
Types of Campaigns
Promotional Campaign
The base campaign type used to feature content on your website without being attached to any properties. It only consists of the common features. This Campaign allows you to display a message on your home page where the user can click through to see the full article.
Some examples of how it may be used:
Seasonal messages (Merry Christmas etc)
Regional News or News relating to your business (Perhaps you have recently won an award)
Property Search
The Property Search based campaigns allow the agent to display a list of properties based on a certain criteria. This campaign has the common features with the addition of the following search filters:
Keyword
Location
Type
Attributes
Guests
Bedrooms
Bathrooms
Cars
Availability (Date Range)
Once the user has clicked through from the panel on your home page they will see the Title, Icon and Brief Description at the top of the page. Below that the Main Description Editorial Page will be is shown.
Below the Editorial page a list of properties that fit the selected criteria is shown in standard search result form.
Some examples of how it may be used:
Feature a certain location or type of property (maybe an event is coming up in that area)
Feature properties with a certain attribute (Pet friendly, Pool, etc)
Selected Properties
The Selected Properties Campaign is similar to the Property Search in that a list of properties is shown below the Editorial Page, however in this case you select which properties are to be shown there. You can also set an Availability Date Range so that only properties that are available over that date range are displayed.

Value Added / Discount
The final Campaign type is the Value Added / Discount campaign. With this campaign agents have the ability to create packages and / or apply a discount on the booking tariff. This campaign has the common features with the addition of the following options:
Discount – either a percentage or fixed amount
Valid – select Always or Date Range - Rule – select whether the Entire Booking or just the Arrival Date need to be within the date range for the discount to apply
Minimum Days – minimum days that must be booked (optional)
Maximum Days - maximum days that must be booked (optional)
Start on – Booking must start on this day of the week to be applicable (optional)
End on – Booking must end on this day of the week to be applicable (optional)
Extras – apply an optional discount to Extras as well as the rent.
Description – shown during the booking process
Inactive/Active Properties – display the properties you want the Discount/Voucher to apply to by selecting the properties in the Inactive list on the left and transfer them to the Active list by clicking on the >> button. Select multiple properties by holding down the Shift or Ctrl key when selecting.

Setting up a Promotion Campaign
From Tools > Campaigns click on Create new campaign
Enter an ID for the Campaign (may contain only letters, numbers and underscores)
Enter the Title - displays in the panel header, campaign page heading and campaign page title
Enter the Brief Description – displays in the panel and shown at the top of the campaign page
Leave the Status switch set to Disabled until you are ready to display the Campaign on the website
Browse and upload an Icon image for the Campaign – the icon will display in the panel and at the top of the campaign page (the icon image must be .jpg or .jpeg format and will be resized to 200 pixels wide)
Enter the full Description (Editorial) – displays on the Campaign page and use the Document Editor provided to format the content, load images and create links
Select the Campaign Type from the pull-down menu
Set the Status switch to Listed if the promotion is on-going, or if the promotion has a start and end date then select Date Range and specify the Start and End date then click on Save Changes
Setting up a Property Search Campaign
NB This filter works in an identical way to the Availability Search on your website – only properties that are fully available for the date range selected will display therefore it is not really suitable for a date range longer than 2 weeks
Follow Steps 1-8 from Setting up a Promotion Campaign above
Once you have selected Campaign Type: Property Search the Search Options will display
Select the options that you wish to use for the search i.e. pet friendly in the keywords, or an option based on location, property type, property attributes, number of guests, bedrooms or car spaces.
To display only available properties across a date range, select the start and end date required for availability
Set the Status switch to Listed if the campaign is on-going
If the campaign has a start and end date then select Date Range and specify the Start and End date then click on Save Changes
Setting up a Selected Properties Campaign
Follow Steps 1-8 from Setting up a Promotion Campaign
Once you have selected Campaign Type: Selected Properties two columns will display: Inactive and Active Properties
Inactive Properties in the left column contains a list of all your properties
Select the properties you want to feature in the campaign by highlighting them in the list (select multiple properties by holding down the Shift or Control key as you highlight them) and then click on the arrows pointing to the right column
To display only available properties across a date range, select the start and end date required for availability

Setting up a Value Added/Discount Campaign
Follow Steps 1-8 from Setting up a Promotion Campaign
Once you have selected Campaign Type: Value Added/Discount the following options will display
Discount – enter either a percentage or fixed amount

Making a Campaign Inactive (not visible on the website)
From Tools > Campaigns click on the Edit Campaign button of the appropriate campaign
From the pull-down menu next to the Status switch select Disabled
Click on Save Changes
Deleting a Campaign
From Tools > Campaigns click on the Edit Campaign button of the appropriate campaign
Scroll to the bottom of the page and enter the word Delete in the field provided
Click on Save Changes
Changing the Order of the Campaigns
From Tools > Campaigns
Click and drag on an individual campaign to change the order in which it displays on the website
