What have we been up to? Here's a quick summary of what you should know.

Feed into HomeAway Australia

We are this close with the HomeAway link - our third pilot YesBookit client went live feeding listings to HomeAway Australia this week, and our fourth (and last) pilot is days away from going live.  We've been working with the HomeAway onboarding team, who will be in touch to review your rates and property details and photos, making sure they are ready to send to HomeAway. Remember, to be eligible for HomeAway you must have:

  1. a payment gateway connected to YesBookit. We recommend SecurePay, eWay or Paystation.

  2. signed a new contract with HomeAway.

If you need help with either of these, please let us know.

Server speed update

The new servers are humming along nicely - YesBookit pages are now taking on average 1.8 seconds to load, well down from load times in the recent slowdown. Here's a chart that shows this, with the orange line being "before" and the blue line "after". We've just about finished the update, with a few housekeeping jobs in the background to make sure the new servers behave themselves.

Hints from the Help Center

Have you got a new staff member or new to YesBookit yourself? Check out training videos like Creating a New Property or sign up for our free monthly New Staff Training Webinar.

We've got three Product & Training Workshops happening in 2018 if face to face learning is more your style. Click the links below for information and registration for each event:

Perth Workshop - Wednesday 22nd August
Newcastle Workshop - Wednesday 5th September
Melbourne Workshop - Wednesday 12th September

There's plenty going on in the YesBookit Help Centre for all skill levels.
Happy learning!

What's next?

HomeAway, HomeAway, HomeAway.  We'll finish getting the connection open, build out the rate markup tool for those who want to mark your rates up (or down) for HomeAway or booking.com, and we'll work with some of you for simplification of rates for loading into HomeAway.

As always, contact us if you have any questions about any of this.

Daniel and the YesBookit Team.
