YesBookit is able to work with third party websites like BlueTent, to provide direct links from email shortlists to the property listings in these third party websites.  This guide is to show you how to set up YesBookit to do this.

Turn on SEO Friendly URLs

Start off by turning on this capability - which is also known as Search Engine Optimisation Friendly URLs.

Log into YesBookit, then go to Tools -> Content Management.

Next go to Settings

And from there you go into the SEO Friendly URLs section and check Activate.
Then go to the Property URLs dropdown, and change it from YBI to Custom.

YesBookit can now create custom links.  To customise these links, click in the View property box.  First you need to type in your custom website address and press enter, which will save it as a selectable option...

And then you can select the property info from YesBookit that your external website will need to select the property - you may need to speak to the website developers to discover what they need.

YesBookit also has the capability to link departure and arrival details to an external website - if the website can support this.  To do this, update the info in the View property, passing arrival and departure dates field, same as you did before.

And that's it.  Press Update Data at the bottom of the screen, and when you create an email shortlist, it will have the updated URLs.

As always, if you need any help getting this working the YesBookit team are here - just drop us a line and we'll be happy to help.

Cheers,
Bart.
