YESBOOKIT SURVEY COMPETITION

TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

These terms and conditions relate to the YesBookit Survey competition. Entering the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions by the entrant.

THE PROMOTER:

The Promoter is Stayz Pty Ltd, ABN 41 102 711 599 of Level 18, 100 William Street, Woolloomooloo NSW 2011. 

COMPETITION PERIOD:

The competition period for the YesBookit Survey competition is from 8am on Thursday 07 December 2017 to 11:59pm on Tuesday 19 December 2017. 

 

HOW TO ENTER:

Entry is open to residents of Australia who are 18 years of age or over. However, employees of Stayz Pty Ltd, their immediate families, and any other related parties and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.

To enter, entrants must, during the competition period:

a) Complete the YesBookit survey;

b) Answer the prize question contained within the survey; and

c) Enter their name and email address in the applicable field. 

Entry will require the entrant to provide contact information including name, and email address. All correctly submitted entries will be entered into the competition. 

The best answer (as judged by the YesBookit General Manager) will be awarded the prize of a $200 Westfield voucher.

 

 

JUDGING

Judging will take place at 501c/19 HoneySuckle Drive, Newcastle, NSW 2300 on Friday 22 December. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.

The prize cannot be transferred and cannot be redeemed for cash.

The decision is final and at the discretion of The Promoter.

The winner will be notified through the email provided in the survey.If the email is incorrect or no response on or before 6 January 2017 the winner will be invalid. If the winner becomes invalid The Promoter will award an alternative winner using the criteria set out above.

GENERAL:

 

  1. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions, all expenses incurred by the winner or any third party in connection with winning or taking up a prize are the responsibility of the winner.

  2. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the competition period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter. 

  3. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. 

  4. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the Promoter’s requirements. 

  5. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

  6. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions. 

  7. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved. 

  8. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the phone user or any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. 

  9. By entering this competition, you warrant that your entry will not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party. Further, you agree to indemnify the Promoter against any loss, claim or damage (whether suffered directly or indirectly) as a result of your breach of these terms and conditions, including the foregoing warranty given in relation to intellectual property. 

  10. Stayz Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.

  11. The Promoter may amend the competition period in its sole discretion, by updating these terms and conditions. Any amendment to the competition period will be at the Promoter’s sole discretion and may be for any reason, including unexpected or increased interest or entries, or if for any reason the YBI Survey competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion. The Promoter also reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. 

  12. By entering the YesBookit Survey competition, each entrant accepts full responsibility for the decision to participate in the promotion.

  13. All entries are the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this promotion. Your personal information may be used and disclosed in order for the Promoter to manage, promote and conduct of this competition, including any publicity associated with the winning entries.
